Long term, you can get very good deals. I know of a US$1,000 daily rental, that you can negotiate to US$6,500 monthly for a 12 month lease.

All depends on your budget etc.

I'm guessing/hoping that if I offered to pay for a full year up front ,in cash, that it may help to get the best deal. If anyone hears of a nice furnished place, please keep me in mind. Thanks -RK

Thanks for the kind words, my father was in a lot of pain over his last years on earth. He's at peace now.

That's one reason I need to get away for a while.

Come on, your Dad was know worldwide!!!!, this is a Chilean guy telling you so. My deepest condolences to you and your family, but as you say, he is at peace and doing far better than us rigth now.
