A double-trailer truck crashed into two vehicles parked at the Plaza Jacaranda, on Duarte highway near Bonao. Diario Libre reports that no one was injured. Plaza Jacaranda highway parador suffered damages to its façade.
A preliminary report from the Ground Traffic Security Agency (Digesett) reports that the trailer smashed a pickup and a car when it unexpectedly entered the parking lot at Plaza Jacaranda to avoid colliding a vehicle on the highway. The vehicles were slammed into the front of the popular roadside food and drinks vending business. The multi-vehicle crash occurred at noon on Thursday, 13 August. Ministry of Public Works patrols and the National Police were promptly at the site.
