Asking a Latino about Marc Anthony is like asking any English speaking person who Elvis Presley is. He has also had some pretty famous marriages (he likes em' young)
They're saying it was just the gazebos that burned, set on fire by a disgruntled employee.
The main house is OK.

No, not at all. I'm an old rocker, not a salsa fan.
That's fine, just helping you out here a bit :)

So he has not only done salsa, also actor and has done English music as well, on charts all over Europe.

I'm not a fan per se but I do enjoy his work and I do consider him to be a pretty big celebrity, as does my wife. But, I do like salsa even though I'm absolutely useless in dancing... Thanks to my heritage... My wife dancing it, you should see her... She's a huge huge introvert but does know how to dance, and our kids know too...

Disgruntled employee, that's not good. Scary to think someone who works for you becomes unhappy and decides to burn your house down. Then again you always hear about the crazy, scary things some disgruntled employees do.

Another old rocker here. First concert was Deep Purple at Radio City Music Hall in 1976, but even I know him. LOL! This song has a 2 note introduction, and people are on their feet after the first note:

No. When I saw the article I thought it was sarcastic, referring to Marc Antony and Cleopatra. I had to look him up.
That’s because you aren’t Hispanic. lol

Don’t need to like his music to know who he is. The same with Celia Cruz, Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Fernández, Paulina Rubio, Ana Gabriel, etc.

The most gifted poster here said recently that he had never heard of Messi. We all got blind spots.
I am even less gifted, ask me to mention two famous baseball or basket ball players and I can’t.
In other words, when you live in a country where football, or soccer whatever you wish,
is not a popular sport that can happen.

Dont forget Frankie Ruiz .. one of the best of all time . .From Paterson New Jersey ..

Celia was Born in Cuba but also Lived in Fort Lee New Jersey ... They named a Garden State Parkway Rest stop after her .. I was so happy to see that when we went to Cape May.

As far as Being Spanish ? there are not many Latin Artists you could tell me that I would not recognize ..Either By Name or by a Song .. I spent 20 years in The Bronx and the Sound of Salsa and other Genres would play in Pelham Bay Park all summer Long .. Orchard Beach as Well .. The 70's and 80's were absolutely the Best .

In 2014 “Vivir mi Vida” was all I heard, everywhere here. I asked someone who’s this?
Catchy tune. Nice hook.

I went to a wedding in the late 1970's in NY. Celia Cruz was singing at the wedding. One of the families was Cuban. I had no idea who she was, but everyone went nuts when she appeared.......

I was about 10 or 11 the first time I saw Celia on TV. "Lucha Libre" was on the Spanish TV station every Saturday morning, and I loved pro wrestling ("En mi casa toman Bustelo" was my favorite commercial jingle). It was love at first site; she was so colorful and happy and beautiful. Her mausoleum in the Bronx has glass walls so that fans can look in and see her crypt along with memorabilia. I know it's not a D.R. related post, but I think Celia deserves special dispensation.
