inspired by this thread i forced miesposo to go to burger king today (no mcd in POP). 5 cheeseburgers and fries (one) came to 315 pesos. heck, it's 9 dollars! much less in usa for the same thing, i am sure...
still, it was nice to munch on plastic burger again. :)

So I finally made it to McDonalds in Santiago on Las Colinas. Building looked good just like in the States so I had my hopes up. Ordererd a BigMac combo 180 pesos each for me and my wife. I was kind of impressed the taste was passible fries good even the Coke was decent what wasnt was the lettece, didnt know if its home grown but did see a difference. Ambiance was good what was a suprise was that I could order a beer with my burger, that put a smile on my face (which I did of coarse) the Presidente in a can I think was 70 or 80 pesos a little expensive but hey cant do that in NY. So to wrap up I enjoyed my experience wasnt that bad at the least, as for my wife after eating her BigMac turned to me and said I really wanted BurgerKing.

But does the Quater Pounder or Big Mac taste the same and are they using American BEEF?

I won't eat at Burger King in the DR as they cannot replicate the double whopper with cheese.

If all this relief effort would air drop some real burgers I would make sure most were delivered.
