President Danilo Medina was present for the inauguration of the new storage tanks of the Dominican Petroleum Refinery PDV (Refidomsa). These increase the country’s storage capacity for diesel by 65%, premium gasoline by 49% and Jet A-1 by 85%.
The Presidency of the Republic reported that Refidomsa also put into operation two tanks for service of Gasoline/Gasoline with a nominal capacity of 150,274 barrels (23,890 m3) each, and a tank for aviation fuel, Jet A-1 with a capacity of 107,590 barrels (17,105.25 M3).
The President’s twitter account highlights that Refidomsa PDV is an ISO 14001 certified company that complies with all environmental regulations.
