I think it was some buses seized, not the offices themselves. I believe it was about unpaid taxes. It has now been resolved and the buses are running normally.

This has happened before I remember they had a raid a few years ago. Isn't the owner political?

Metro buses are not running on the north coast. Perhaps from Santiago on but not in Puerto Plata or Sosua. I called today.

again ??? they filed for bankruptcy 3 years ago, their main station at churchill was seized and many off their busses and auctioned off by the Bank but somehow they managed to keep going. Sad

So I made the mistake of asking mi amiga if she knew anything about it, and she went on one of her anti-PRD rants. They usually start with "Ay por Dios, Joseph..." and end with "aqui las cosas funcionan asi". I'll never learn.
