Hello All,

I've had 2x Moderna. It sure would be nice to avoid an expensive trip to the U.S. for my booster. If I could do a mix and match with Pfizer here (I am over 65), I could save a trip. However, the fact that I've lived here for 12 years is probably irrelevant since I'm a non-resident.

Any ideas? If I could pay $$ under the table, I'd do it. Mostly, I need locations in Sto. Dom. Any ideas?

I went to Downtown Center on Nuñes & Caceres. It was nice doing it there. It’s on the second floor. I am a resident but with a recent expired cedula which I used. I have been reading here on dr1 that passport is fine.

Thanks for this. What does it mean "Downtown Center"? Is there a name for it? (I know I could look up the cross streets but it's easier with Uber to find the place . . . )

It’s a mall on Nunez de Caceres. Any taxi or Uber would know it. Just ask to go to Downtown Center

Easy and convenient with Uber. I went there just recently. The vaccines hadn’t arrived yet so I went down and waited at Starbucks first. It’s a nice and very modern mall.

Sure enough. I just checked it on Google Maps and there it was. I wasn't expecting an English name. I've lived in Sto. Dom. for 12 years and I've never heard of this place. Worth checking out for more than just the vaccine . . .

Absolutely and not having travelled much internationally the last two years I felt like I was spending half a day in the first world lol.

I went to Downtown Center today. It was a nice place to visit and I was happy to see that they had an official Vaccination Center established and on the second floor. Unfortunately, it was a "no go." I was told that there is no authorizationi for a Pfizer vacc. as booster for Moderna, which is my situation. I'm now feeling that probably I'm going to have to spend $1,000.00 and go to the U.S. Maybe I'll try a couple more places but I'm not hopeful . . .

Can you give me a name or street? I went to Downtown Center today and I was told that there was no authorization for Pfizer booster for Moderna. I'm feeling now that I'm going to have to spend $1,000 to go to the U.S. But I'll still look a little more, just in case.

Where was this? I took a long RT to Downtown Center today and they told me that there was no authorization for a Pfizer booster on top of Moderna. So now I'm feeling that I'm going to have to spend $1,000 to fly to the U.S. I will still look here but don't know where else to try.

I am glad you at least enjoyed your visit to DT Center.
