Also where does one find neem trees in the DR (to buy for planting?)

Neem trees were brought to the DR following the devastation caused by Hurricane David (1979) for reforestation. You can find them growing mostly everywhere. Once you recognize them, you can pick seedlings growing an empty lots, by the side of roads, etc. Also, you can purchase them for cheap from 'viveros' (commercial tree nurseries).

Paint

I heard that there is a special paint that is supposed to work as a repellant.
Is this something that anyone has tried and can verify??
