My husband is in the dominan Republic I sent in papers to immigration for him to come to the USA does anyone know if I will have problems with it

I would think not...Are you a US citizen? You do have the right to petition for him. Did you do a I-130? If he has no legal issues/problems here in the DR and you meet the qualifications to sponsor him then you should have no problem.
