If not Ole, there are quite a few places that sell Omaha steaks, and they're right up there with the Allen Brothers.
Must disagree with you. We used to be regulars at Omaha Steaks when it was not far from us in Pittsburgh. The quality went down over time. Then we started buying Kansas City Steaks. They were a bit better. Allen Bros. is much better than both.

But, I too, go to Nacional in Santiago and have them cut the meat exactly the way I want it. No one inch steaks for me (as the imported frozen angus is sold, vacuum packed.) We want a 2 inch steak so we can get a good crust on it and still have it the right temperature inside.

Also- the other week, Nacional had brisket. Ever since I moved here, I have had a hunger for good corned beef. Big Mike used to bring some back for me each time he returned from the US (rest in peace.) Well, I bought the brisket, brined it myself for 2 weeks, and, oh man, was that good! The next time I went to Nacional, I planned on buying 2 more......."they were finished." Darn.

Sorry for rambling.....

I went in December. The food was very good but somewhat pricey. Quality and taste are 10x better than almost any other restaurant I've been to in the city. I've heard great reviews from acquaintances as well.
Was the music loud? I am tired of going to great places, only to have it ruined by music louder than a GunsN Roses concert.

No, when I went, the downstairs was a very quiet and elegant atmosphere. Upstairs where I ended up was where they had the Bonye band which as you can imagine was a loud experience.
