Are good results important in the National exams here. For example is 85% good? What does that mean? Acceptance to better universities or courses. How do they weigh National results vs local results? Are they like lcat or mcat?
I would like to learn what significance they are? Do they help getting into foreign universities?

On another note the is the new peterson acedemy. https://petersonacademy.com. which i understand offers remote university education for a fraction of the cost. They have wold class professers.I think this is a glimpse into the future. They already have 20,000+ enrolled in their first semester.

A quick look at the website you gave shows they are not accredited. Their courses might be enjoyable, but not sure they have much value beyond that yet

We will be rolling out Peterson Academy certification in the coming months. I believe it will be accredited shortly.

Buaahahaaaa. What are you even talking about. Firstly, iCat is computer adaptive testing algorithm used as a vehicle to deliver testing to a test taker. MCAT is the medical school admissions test branded in the US. It is one of the single hardest exams given anywhere in the world, along with the state level Bar. In the Dominican, you can walk right into law or medical school with a face and public school diploma. Now, that is NOT to say there are not great docs and attorneys in DR, however, I hope this sets the record clear. Again, no one likes their baby called ugly! God bless and good evening.

OP is probably referring to LCAT - LUMS Common Admission Test. Using lowercase for the acronyms did make it easy to think it was an I and not an L.

Allow me to correct this. Although LCAT probably was the intended acronym, it might not have been for this one specifically

Hi bob. Are these results important? What do they mean if you say are the number one in a school district
We have several ex-students that went on to achieve meritorious recognition from the school district. At least one of them received a university scholarship from the government. If the student is really outstanding, they also have an opportunity to receive a scholarship to an American university.
