Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well.

I need your help please. I am traveling to Puerto Plata April 18th and I will be staying at Casa Marina. I am looking for prices for a guest friendly hotel in the area, some of my friends want to stay at the guest friendly hotel while I and others want to stay at the AI. Please provide your imput on staying at the AI vs guest Friendly Hotel. Please keep in mind we like the area where Casa Marina is because of the night clubs.

Are there any better All Inclusives to stay at that are near the clubs?

Secondly we are looking to rent scooters, last year I think we paid 25 us dollars a day, is that a good price or bad price?

Thank you everbody for your assistance

Casa Marina is in Sosua (Puerto Plata province) and is one of the few all inclusive resorts, that is located in a town.
Most of them are so far from any action, that it's like being in jail.
There are a multitude of guest friendly hotels in Sosua.
If you give us more info, like price, amenities, pool, AC, etc, we can recommend something.
25 bucks is an average price for scooters.
Sometimes you can get them a bit cheaper, but it might not be worth it if the bike's not in good condition.

Thanks Rocky for responding,

Last year when we stayed at Casa Marina, we could not bring guest back with us. We had rented a room for four hours for about 11 us dollars. The room served it's purpose, however there were bugs everyway and no AC.

We had found a resort in the backwoods that was renting two bedrooms apartments for 25 dollars a night. I don't remember the resort name, however the Manager indicated that they had just opened and will be offering that price on a regular. We are just looking for a clean and comfortable place near Casa Marina where we can have guest. Your suggestions are always greatly appreciated.

Thanks
