New airline routes: Miami-Samana, Boston-Puerto Plata, more flights to Venezuela and Guadeloupe

JetBlue Airways has been cleared to operate 17 flights on the Boston-Puerto Plata-Boston route. The airline will be using a 186-passenger A320 for the BOS-POP flight. The flights will operate from January until 2 April 2022. This is a new route for JetBlue. Some 6,324 seats are added to the leading airline’s capacity to the Dominican Republic.

American Airlines received authorization to operate the Miami-Samana-Miami route. The start of the AZS-MIA frequency is scheduled for March 2022, with an initial operation of two flights per week. The airline requested to operate the flight from March 2022 to February 2023, adding capacity for another 8,056 seats.
