Does beer get better with age? I have a six pack in my Refrigerator that's been there for 6-7 years now.
If it has refermentation in the bottle yes, otherwise no. They sell beers that have aged 10 - 20 years, just like wines, but not with the pilseners, but with the stronger beers. With the refermantation, some beers almost taste like wines after a few years. It is said that if you age a beer with refermentation on the bottle, the alcohol level goes up 1% every year

Santiago Matías (Alofoke) is in today's Pesos Pesados. Notice what he is wearing.

The headquarters of his place behind Sirena on Churchill Ave, Santo Domingo is like a Dominican mini version of Google. It even has a videogame playroom for employees. lol

The following video is from about a year ago giving a small tour of his company's headquarter.

I'm looking forward to trying it.
The last new beer was absolutely disgusting. I don't recall it's exact name but it was a brain child of the Remeri family which owns PUJ.
Hopefully this new one is better.

No offense or anything but...for the record, that's Rainieri.

She actually looks very similar like a friend I had a few years ago, but she was Puerto Rican. Didn’t know each country has its own version. lol

I still haven't seen a cold one for sale yet. They have 6 packs of cans for sale at the cruise terminal duty free store in La Romana but the price was 18.00 USD.
That was the same price as two 700ml bottles of Brugal Extra Anjeo rum.
18 usd for 6 beers is crazy or did things change drastically in the 2 weeks I was gone.

I tried this new beer a few hours ago while at Carnival here in
Santiago. Promo girls were giving it away for free. Thank you
but no thank you. I will stick to my Presidente Light.

The latest news is that this beer is now banned to be promoted/advertised in the La Vega Carnival later this month due to competition with Presidente. lol

Eventually Presidente will offer to buy Republica (probably Foke's plan all along), Foke will sell it and put a few million USDs into his bank account. Smart.

Wawawá extraordinaire and epicenter of all conflicts surrounding música urbana en Erredé, Alofoke, does NOT own República La Tuya.

According to the father of Santiago Matías, this beer already has 17% of the Dominican market. If this is true, that is a good sign considering this beer is not even one year old.

I have a very difficult time believing that. Not 17%, not even 7%

Maybe 17% in his fridge. There is absolutely no way it has 17%. Quick research shows Presiente, Presidente Light and Bohemia have over 80% of the market share, then there is Corona, Modelo, The One... If they had even 1% it'd mean they have sales of over 25 Million USD, which I doubt.

Not unless it is given away in hotel mini bars in Punta Cana.
After having bought six of them and choking the grog down - 17% would require many repeat customers and that beer isn't going to have many repeat customers.
