So they may outlaw plastic bags and foam containers ?
Maybe they will make an effort but I can't see the DR existing without either of these, nor can I see the day when they won't be indiscriminately thrown to the side of the roads or into the streams and rivers.

I actually like the plastic grocery bags. I don't have to buy trash bags. Are the foam containers recyclable here? Does anyone know?

We really need an emphasis on mind set regarding trash. It's not ok to throw your shit on the ground and walk away. They need a PR campaign big time.

There are a lot of recyclers here, but I've never seen any of them hauling styrofoam.
