Revista will read 2014 since it's not a 'tax' for the coming year, but the year you did your vehicle 'revista' (check). Even though in practice it's not really a check (but neither a tax, at RD$35 it's impossible that they make any money with that process.

sorry, "marbete", not "matricula". he bought marbete online and it arrived to his office few days later. as mauricio said, having a clear address helps here.

Asociacion Cibao de Ahorros y Prestamos, one of which is located in Pola (La Sirena) is usually quick and easy. I normally get mine there every year, there's nothing like having it in hand when you pay for it.
