Saludos! I returned from my vacation in Playa Bonita, Playa Coson, Las Terrenas, and Cascada de Limon. Playa Bonita was gorgeous & mellow, Playa Coson was beautiful & expansive, Las Terrenas did have many motorcycles but was much less busy than I had expected, and the waterfall was definitely a "wow" experience.
I will be posting a trip report in the near future but meanwhile I hope you enjoy my images which I posted here in the media gallery section on DR1 at Paul Gerace - DR1 Media Gallery.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us! As always, I was not disappointed...just really thrilled at how wonderfully you had captured my favourite region of the DR.

Gracias for the kind words DR Loca & Abuela.
Abuela, I thought it was the spanish word for some sort of sea serpent, eel, that is in the photo with the fisherman. I asked him and I thought that was the word. If anyone else knows the true spelling or another word that sounds like that please let me know.

Thanks again, Paul, for your insightful photographs. Margaret & I 'discovered' Playa Coson a few years ago and we return often with visitors. They are always delighted with the place, and especially Luis's beach front restaurant. We have even brought back rooted Coconuts from the area and replanted them in our yard.

It is always a pleasure to see your photographs. I love the way you can capture the people and scenery of the DR. It is amazing that you can find new places to photograph with all your travels to the island. Great work my friend. I always look forward to see where you will go next.
