This. Renovating entire house.
Yes this (Blue box) is the electronic pressure control I was talking about. I do not have one yet but if anyone has one can they let us know if it work well (constant pressure). I check the spec, what's good is it say will protect the pump if missing water (Dry run). Also says up tp 10 Bar pressure, thats 145 psi, way to much for domestic use.

My neighbour installed one except his is one complete unit and not a pump with separate controller. Its on the roof to supply an airbnb. There is a separate pump the fill the tinacos so that even if the tinaco is leaking it will not cycle this pump. There is also a float switch inside the tinaco that will prevent the pump from starting if there is no water in the tank. It provides good pleasure as soon as the faucet is opened.
At my apartment I installed a small one from amazon just for the bathroom. Gives excellent pleasure for showering. Feeds directly from tinaco and will not start if there is no water.
If I was installing for whole house I would be installing the same type as my neighbour.

THANKS. There is a small tinaco on the roof which I haven't attended to yet. I have very little flat part on the roof as there are several angles and pitches to the roof. In addition I don't have access from the second floor. Only outside ladder. My plan was to deal with the roof and tinaco when the painter starts the exterior next week.
Johne I do not know the set up of your roof. I recommend that where you tinaco is located, that you build a cement platform off the roof so there is air flow under your tinaco and not directly on the roof. What I seen is they build a cement platform in a corner that is mostly supported by the conner walls. Also if you could build exterior stairs for access to your tinaco because you will need easy access.

Yes the water will still flow but at a reduced rate depending on the amount of water in the tinaco.

This is my set up on my roof. The red tank the pump is sitting on is just support, not attached to the pump. I have another pump at ground level which I normally only need to turn on once a month or less, even though my roof is three floors up.

I'm trying to figure out what "galvanized with fibra" means.

Why two pumps ? Are there two sources of water ?

I'm guessing in case he loses head on the pump upstairs during a prolonged power outage.
If that's the case, why not eliminate the pump upstairs and use the other full time?

Yes, I saw one in Bellon yesterday, and that is exactly what it says forrado de fibra de vidrio.
Just like the label on your tank:

Forrada means covered but that tank is not covered with fiberglass. That means the fiberglass must be inside.

So they put a fiberglass tank inside of a galvanized metal tank? I can only imagine what happens to it when they weld it shut.

You're better off with a bladder tank with just one outlet instead of three like this one.

Im pretty sure that's not how they are built or the fibreglass would be destroyed. Probably pour in and spun to coat the inside of the galvanized tank......but I don't know with any certainty
