Reality check time El Ray. Nobody died and made you the language policeman on DR1. The last time I checked the moderators were policing the language used in the posts and there is a thread for the use of Español and the nuances of the language. If you have a problem with language use post on that thread. I actually picked up that reference from the DR families I spend a lot of time with in Puerta Plata and Luperon. Focus your mental efforts on more worthwhile things.

No tears on my part Amigo. I had to be careful how I responded to your suggestion and I think it was appropriate. I got an infraction and was banned from DR1 a month ago for something I posted on the wrong thread. I still stand by what I posted but it was not the appropriate thread. I wear that ban like a badge of honour. Many of the best controversial posters on this forum have been banned a few times. If it was meant in jest then I accept it in jest. Enjoy your day with your family.
We are talking about a disease which affects everyone, whatever their political views, equally. Whether you identify people as socialists or liberals had nothing to do with it. If only Americans would keep their political differences out of a discussion about breaking the laws in the Dominican Republic. These matters just don't come up in other countries, where the emphasis is on controlling to virus.
