I talked with a couple of Dominican friends who are very much aware of the disco situation in Sosua. They say that there are two popular discos in Sosua: High Caribbean and at the Car Wash.

The bar crawl from hell: start at Happy Bar and have a drink at each bar you encounter along the way to Passions. I would guesstimate that to be about 20-25 bars.

Seriously, do you feel that the walk down PC is unsafe?

My main concerns are getting run over by a moto or breaking an ankle in one of the storm drains.
