North Coast vs. East Coast

I want 65 tereas, can be undeveloped, to build my own villa on. Maybe have a little farm, grow a garden. Be off grid. Would be nice if it were close to a town with a grocery, or even better 30 min or less to an expat town with a bi lingual school(doubt it).

it'll be a fun search for you..... lots of land

If we stay on the North Coast, I like the land on the road to Imbert that starts right past the airport. Awesome views of Puerto Plata and the mountains.

I've never been east. What is the topography like there?
