Im travelling to the allegro playa dorada and was wondering if anyone
has been. There are nine of us going one elderly and one child on 3rd July 2004

I have been twice. (May '03, May '02) We have always enjoyed ourselves here and would have no reservations about going back.

The entertainment staff are very friendly, its nice and clean, food is ok, the 2nd pool is 'smack bang' on the beach (not literally), there's plenty of things to do. Only 3 hotels in Playa Dorada have a Casino (i think the one there is the best). Erm...........there's lots of things i could say. I am sure you will enjoy it there, if you can name a particular room you want - i would request the blocks facing the larger pool

We spent two weeks at the Playa Dorada Hotel in March/April of this year and it was the best vacation we've ever had. We plan to go back next year. We had a lovely room overlooking the Action Pool/Beach area...which is a noisy spot in the late afternoon and from about 7-10:30 p.m. each evening but the view and the ample space in our room, along with the sound of the surf on the beach to gently wake us every morning and the two balconies were definitely worth it all. We would ask for the same area of the hotel again.

The staff were very friendly, our room was kept immaculately clean, the food was good as they tried to please everyone, the grounds were spotless. No complaints whatsoever.
