This is one thread where we see eye to eye. I have no difference with you here. I love this thread and I love these photos. I wish I could have been born in those times and died in those times. Those who know nothing of those times can instantly pick up from the picture the order and discipline that is evident. That emanates from the photo in a way which puts to shame the present DR. That is a Dominican Republic I am proud of. I have passed along the photos to other family members and they love it. Keep them coming Pick. Yes O&C, I don't think you are alone in those sentiments. Even with a larger population, there is no good reason why the streets are so dirty and disorder is so rampant.

I won't get into the good and the bad of Trujillo but he was something of a father figure. RD of today feels like a place where the parents left the kids at home while they went on vacation. And they're never coming back.
