OP. Have you been here for an entire year to see what business levels are like and how they change over an entire year? If not, you are making a huge mistake not considering that in your decision.

I think the law is the same, their is a difference if you are a hotel. If you are a hotel, you can serve your "guests" anytime you want, even on election day. But, I could be wrong.

Maybe, they just look the other way at resorts. Article 13 seems pretty clear.

Best advice on this thread so far. Come back in June or July and rework your business plan based on the slow season, not peak tourist season. Sosua can be a ghost town for weeks on end.
