Over 4,000 youths graduate from the 14-24 Program

Vice President Raquel Peña and the coordinator of the Social Policy Cabinet, Tony Peña, led the VIII Ordinary Graduation of the “Oportunidad 14-24” program on Thursday, 22 May 2025 at the Carlos (Teo) Cruz Boxing Coliseum in the capital city. 4,074 young people completed their training in various technical and vocational fields.

The program is aimed at providing young persons with the training in practical areas that allows for a rapid insertion into the labor force.

During the ceremony, Vice President Raquel Peña underscored the significance of this program in strengthening human capital. She pledged ongoing support for the initiative, emphasizing its role in the economic and social development of the Dominican Republic.
