On two occasions, Cuban troubadour Pablo Milanes cancelled his concert set for 5 December in the National Theater in Santo Domingo. On 22 November 2022 it was learned, the Cuban songwriter has passed away. He regarded as one of the most outstanding Latin American singers of all times. He will always be remembered for his legendary songs – Yolanda, Para Vivir… and many more.
He was on tour in Madrid where he passed away after being hospitalized on 12 November. He was 79 years old.
