Paris to Santo Domingo via Punta Cana with Air France... Stopover Question

Hi everyone, I will be flying to Santo Domingo next week with Air France and there is a 2.5 hour stopover in Punta Cana - does anyone know if you are allowed to disembark the plane during that time? After 9 hours on the plane from Europe I'm wondering if we will be allowed to get some fresh air and stretch before taking off again. Has anyone done this route recently?

It may be different now with Covid rules but when I've taken that flight passengers were allowed to disembark and spend the stopover in the departure lounge.
