The livery on these planes is fabulous.

What's the history on that DC-9? Is it Hi-registered? And what does PAWA plan to do with it?

^^This DC-9 is registered as HI869 (Ex Northwest Airlines N949N), Arrived to DR in February 2008... until this time it has been under reparation in SDQ and MIA. PAWAD said that the plane is almost ready to start the ILS test.

The other DC-9 is the Ex Northwest N602NW... it is not in the USA but the airline said that it will be at SDQ very soon.

Also there are rumors that Aserca Airlines (Venezuelian airline) bought part of PAWAD and will send 2 more DC-9 in 2009.
