I think. HDR, that you meant to say that Playa Grande has some boast saying it is in the top 100 , definitely not Playa Dorada. Playa Grande along with Teeth of The Dog ,Punta Espada and las Corales and close behind are the much improved La Estancia and Hard Rock and one or two others in the east. They are all resort courses and are surrounded by housing estates ,except for Playa Grande. I can not see much difference between the top 4,they all have wonderful ocean views and are wide open and expensivve to play even if you are a Fedo Golf member .I play 3 times a week and find a certain monotony in them but La Estancia has planted hundreds of trees in the last year in contrast to the Casa de Campo courses that have eliminated hundred. The most influence in the rankings is not so much the names of the architects but the money they pay in advertising and promotions ,that gives Teeth of the Dog and Punta Espada a great advantage .
