Playa Bergantine has a number of private project incluging Planet Hollywood, a movie studio, a golf course, villas and condos.

Sosua Ocean Village has run out of ocean front, so now they expand in a big way going a bit inland with Laguna City:

Here is another on Cabarete Beach called Palace Cabarete

The place in the link - Beach Palace - has been there for several years now. It's next to Lifestyle. I know a couple of people who live there.

A condo is great... except you can't control the fees which are often what you could pay to rent and not all people pay so they keep raising fees to compensate.

I bet this is going to end up happening with a lot of the abandoned hotel complexes here.

Not "condofied" anytime soon. Every time I walk past there I see a total of 6 workers, at most. At that rate the huge place won't be condos until 2030 at the soonest. If ever.
