"Estar por la maseta" means that the person is "FIIIIIIINNE", good looking, a "hunk of a woman".

What about:

4. To give a tonguelash
5. If it itches, scratch it!

*Estar por la maceta...(said about a girl) means the girl is beautiful and has an awesome body!

Used to describe a person who "has it all" physically.

An answer to a question about how things are going meaning "not good but not bad".

Chip00: That's "Lucas and Juan Mej?a" Your Dominicanized Spanish is showing!!

"Por mucho que te quiero culito, besarte no puedo!" To tell someone you just cannot do something. The translation is a bit crude: "As much as I love you, little axxhole, I can't kiss you!"

Ese naci? como la auyama; con una flor en el culo! Said of a lucky person or a fortunate person. Translation: this one was born like the squash, with a flower up his butt!

Musicqueen, a "refr?n" is a saying. Please, look it up.
You are correct when you say that they are not only from the DR. My original post says "proverbs used in the DR". That statement does not imply that they are unique to that area, however, If it needed clarification, I thank you for that.

He says, "Si te agarro te debarato."

This could be translated as such: If I get a hold of you, I'm kicking your behind.

Besides the obvious signs of violence, it's does not carry any hidden messages.

miguelitiningo, get back to the drawing board. And stay away from violent messages. Literally.
