Now, if someone says, "Estoy chivo," it could mean she/he is apprehensive or suspicious about a certain situation.
Also, un chivo is a piece of paper containing cheating material when taking a written test.

Here are the translation for each phrase. I translated each the best way I possibly could. Some Dominicanism either don't have an English equivalent or I may not know one. For that reason some of the phrases are not word for word translations, but the closest I could think of an equivalent in English.
