My asset management company, a large concern, will not accept US residents as clients.... never.

The reporting load is too onerous 



Try opening a bank account in Europe with a US Passport. Most banks will tell you to take a hike.

Agreed. But wouldn't doing as so get you in trouble?

In the USA Ii know it would.

I am not an American.... and to prove it to my asset company that I was 'free&clear'

They just avoid US residents - citizens or Green carders

No trouble for me any other nationality

Take a look at Denise Rich.
