Residencia Application to Be Submitted

Does one really need to make an appointment that takes months to get in order to submit an application for Residencia Temporal ? My first time there, I'll only be in the country for a month.

My friend there went and purchased the application for me. I've got my Certificado de No Antecedentes Penales (certificate of good behavior) from the USA and birth certificate already apostilled. I have also obtained a bank letter showing my very high balance. So, seems that I'm all set... but I cannot afford to wait months to be able to remit my application.

Please advise.

You can submit your application with all the paperwork (don't forget photos) then go have your medical tests done. You will receive a receipt that they have your application. And then you wait.
