Update:

Room keycard reading revelaed 3 possible suspects - persons that entered the room in incriminated time window.

All 3 possible suspects were fired today.

Phone did not appear, though, so it is only a partially moral satisfaction.

But on leaving form the resort today, a Brazilian couple that just came in was complaining that one of their bags was missing and the bellboys couldn't locate it.

do you think telling them to go hide until you leave is constitutes being "fired". Of course i can only speculate....but I would guess they were not fired at all.

I cannot neither confirm nor negate the information they were fired. The 2nd in security told me they were. I have no other information to go by or any way to check out.

In a labor market with MANY available workers, I doubt a fine hotel would have a strong reason to keep a thief on staff because of the damage to GPB's reputation.

Threads like this one can be a marketing nightmare for them.
