You making the thread DR relevant. Dominicans traveling to the DR but why ? Not very likely. Russians living in the DR. Some probably don't want to have much to do with Russia which they escaped from. Dark, cold and dystopian Russia.

I have a tendency to post more when I am in the DR and less when I am in Denmark. At the end of the month I am traveling back to Europe.
No mid May I am going back. Some time left for swimming at my gym in Santo Domingo. Before I self deport from dr1.
Let me share an objective observation; here Americans can freely insult other countries, their politics and members. Don’t do it the other way around. You can reference to the US in most threads, but don’t mention Europe. Let’s face it, this is not an independent forum.
Let me rephrase this for ‘vacation’ risk sake; I am very grateful for the sharing of broad-mindedness, freedom and superiority of our best friends. As you know our countries would not exist without them. Nor the rest of the world. Now give them Greenland.
I am considering visiting Greenland. Before it risks becoming American. While it is still beautiful and peaceful.
Enjoy what’s left of your time in the DR and don’t be disheartened by negative comments on your posts. The DR1 community is very diverse. The moderators do what they can to limit dissension but they aren’t miracle workers. As you note, the whole political spectrum is represented here by the posters. it’s inevitable we will post something that gets someone’s nose out of joint. Don’t worry about it or take it to heart.
Have fun with it. Every now and then I’ll put a curveball in my posts, not to troll, but to see who is awake. JD and Christo Rey get my warped sense of humour and will question me about It, others don’t. I read most of your posts and you’ve made some good points. If you don’t know, you’re gracious enough to ask. A lot of posters don’t. Like many posters, you’ve spent enough time in the DR to be able to offer your opinions on many things.
We excel at insulting each other, even more than we do other countries.
Now let’s get back to DR.
Here is the thing, you post something like this and get upset if someone gives you an angry emoji? Not everyone is going to agree with what you post, and one has to accept if someone disagrees with it or dislikes it. It is part of being on a public forum.
