Weather forecaster Jean Suriel says that the cloud of Saharan Dust that is covering the country is the largest so far this 2023. It will be over the Caribbean area through 26 July 2023. Saharan Dust is bad news for those who suffer from allergies. On the other hand, it brings fertilizers for soils and keeps bad storms away. The bad news is that skies will have an opaque appearance.
For Thursday, the Weather Office (Onamet) says there will be scarce rainfall. Yet, small boats are warned there will be wind and abnormal waves on both the Caribbean and Atlantic coasts.
