Next time in DR I will manage to have a family Pasa día over there, not sure if my wife will be able to do the trail, sometime muddy and you must cross the creek twice to make it over there.

Rainy and cold weather today, I told my wife Early in the morning let's go to the Dominican Supermarket to buy the supplies I will help you out to make a Sancocho.
Unfortunately the Dominican avocados sold out but there some from other countries.

End of the season for avocadoes, maybe 2 weeks ago. Las matas estan florecindo, ya.
I still have one tree full of fruit, worth its weight in gold nowadays 😆.

My grandmother used to Cook a delicious Sancocho Prieto, I remember the pork skin, the Tocino along with the plantains cut in small pieces was yummy yummy 😋😋😋
Sancocho Prieto is colored using beans instead of auyama / squashes.
