"Levels" at Bella Terra mall.
"momo" at plaza international.
"Soho" at Bella Terra mall.
"Tribeca" calle Mauricio Alvarez.
"Sahara" Av. Juan Pablo Duarte.
"Ahi-bar dance Club" calle Restauracion.

Just a few that come to mind. Keep searching, there are more.

Ahi Bar is best as a starter spot on Fridays after work and on Sunday nights (Karaoke).

I believe you're referring to Ahi bar the Restaurant, what I mentioned above is Ahi-bar dance club. This is right a cross the street from the Restaurant.

I went to Bella Terra on Puablo Duarte, and did not find them..

Yes, they are separate establishments, both are on the fourth floor of this mall. If your on the street looking towards the mall, Soho would be to the far left; while levels is at the other end of the mall. Word to the wise, levels is a little up scale and thus a bit more expensive.

A couple of ideas not mentioned above: Lovera Bar hosts popular artists on weekends as well as local talent during the week. The weekday shows are usually in the RD$300 range (ladies free). Lovera Bar ..:: Ubicado en la Plaza Lovera, Santiago ::..

Over Lounge Bar also hosts live bands weekends and certain weekdays (smaller than Lovera). Located on Ave. Texas, Plaza Matilde, Jardines Metropolitanos.

For late-night (early morning) dancing, there's Matum. Ave. Las Carreras. (not a "large" nightclub, but plenty of dancing)
Hope this helps.
