My son is a senior in high school here in SD this year.
"Hopefully" he will graduate in June, if he passes the "National Test".
The "Graduation Fee", "Cap & Gown" etc., is 5,000 pesos.
NOW, this being the DR, the school KNOWS that if the parents had to pay the entire fee in June, there would be no one at the graduation ceremony, Sooooooooooooooo, they raise the monthly tuition by 500 pesos for 10 months = the 5,000 needed before graduation!!!!
You MUST pay ON TIME each month, or they WILL ask you to leave. (AND, Pay a "Late Fee"!!!)
You can't get your "Report Card" if you are "Behind".
If all debts are not paid before you graduate, you will not get your official transcript, which is VERY IMPORTANT here.
You must show it for higher education, and at job interviews.
With FOUR in school, it mounts up FAST!!!!!!!!!!!
