There is only ONE REASON that a person,male or female,is interested in the sex life of someone they meet,INSECURITY!!!
They are afraid that they won't measure up! They don't want to be compared to lots of other people! I never asked any woman I was dating about her past.What is the point? If she likes me enough to have sex with me why worry about the other guys?You can't change the past,why be concerned about it? Most people would lie about it anyway.If you can't tell what kind of person you are with after talking to them for a while,you are a poor judge of character anyway!The futere is much more important than the past.You might want to be more concerned about weather your partner will be screwing other people in the future,not the past.Please don't try and tell me that the number of previous sex partners is an idication of the number of future partners!Women are very easy to keep happy.You have to compliment them on their cooking.You have to hold them all night long,tell them how much you love them all day long,make love with them whenever they want,and tell them that they are beautiful,even when they have a "Bad Hair Day",gain a "FEW" extra pounds,and especially when they are pregnant!Then you can get all you want on the side! Larry is a real man who has not been feminized by the recent social american TV culture. He sees things the way they really are.
We men and as well as most well-to-do dominican men don't want to marry a woman who is well known in the bar / disco scene. We would like to play with the party girls and would like to be seen with them in places but never we would get married to these sluts. There is a difference between who is suitable for marriage and who is suitable for play. All decent dominican men would accept a decent respectable woman who is worthy of represeting their family name.
Please note: I am not talking about poor barrio trash or the resort worker type sankies. These people have no social status in dominican society and most dominicans wouldn't consider talking to these folks. These folks are only befriended by tourists and many actually marry them and have kids with....

Anyway, back to the track: A dominican male prefers his future wife to be virgin or if not, then she maybe allowed to have 1 previous serious boyfriend. That is the limit. If the girl is seen in clubs and bars dancing / dating various men, then she is considered a slut and of low ethical / socials values. This girl is labeled "party girl" for life. She will be a "side action chica" for the rest of her life for well-to-do dominicans. She may get married to a poor dominican someday but she better move out of that city to stay clear of her past. My ex girlfriend was supposed to be a christain girl but her actions didn't correspond to her identity. she would only screw around with me because I lived in Puerto plata and she also kept a full time boyfriend in santiago. when I moved to santiago, her secret blew up on her face and she lost both of us. her reputation was ruined in santiago as her boyfriend bad mouthed her everywhere.
She was compelled to find a sucker on the internet to fall in love with her and fly in from argentina to marry her.
That was her only choice and option to find a decent mate. Now she keeps that sucker away from all of us. Poor guy thinks she is a christain innocent girl. on the other hand, we all call him a pendejo.

Obviously the team from the Tribunal of "Party Girl" records should research tha Baniter colapse, any one who can keep tract of the fidelity records of all Dominican Women must rival the CIA, M60 and Mossad intelligence agencies in ability :bandit:.

Criss, You are usually very informative and I agree with you 100%, insecurity is the cause of the problem; but in Santiago, D.R. is totally different. It's a different mentally, and it is just like AZB says. Not so much in the Capital, but Santiago is a very small town, everyone knows each other. If you want to marry well, your reputation better be spotless. There's no argument here, that's the way it is.

Obviously you do not know how things work in thr DR among the Elite.

Whatever you on Saturday night will be common knowledge among them by Monday morning. If you are seen talking with the member of the opposite sex at a club soon the people will be talking about what an item you 2 are. If you dance more than a few dances you are now Novios. If you walk out together It is automatically assumed you had sex and after a short time you will announcing your engagement to be married.

Lee, you must not be a dominican or if you are dominican, you must not live in DR.
Get this straight, most dominican men do not get married to girls over 30 plus like you maybe. We prefer late models with low mileage (if you get my drift). Most well-to-do dominicans marry young girls 18-22 yrs old. University education and from decent families. These families keep a tight look on their girls. parents take them to school / university and bring tham back. I had a girlfriend (18yrs old) who never took a concho or a taxi because her dad would bring her to school and take her back. He would always make sure she came home on time and he kept her class schedule. I never really got to spend any time with her because her dad would kill her if he found out she had a boyfriend. We only got to see each other when her class was cancelled or something else. yes she was virgin.
There are Tons of girls in santiago who are either Virgins or have very low Mileage.
So please Lee, speak for yourself only. Read and learn about domincian culture from people who live here.
This is not USA or canada, rules are different here.

Never rode in a Carro Publico.
Never rode in a Bus.
Never set foot in a Colmado.
Never shopped on Duarte.
Never went to a club or disco without a male escort.
Never talked to a Tourist at a resort.
Never waited in line at Customs.
Never waited in line for a Driver's License, Cedual, Revista, Chapa or Visa.

TonyC is right on the money. most tourists never get to know these types of dominicans because they only meet the poor ones. The seme people would think that this class of people are only 5% or less in DR. It all depends on where you visit / live and whom you socialize with. When my cousin came to DR (santiago) he left with the impression that dominicans are educated, well-to-do and most of all, he thought majority of them were white skinned. Hahahahaha. Now try to measure that to your perception of dominicans. When he saw Miss. Universe win in the finals, he wasn't surprised nor he questioned: "she doesn't look like a dominican....?????"

I think you misunderstood the issue. We are explaining how things work among the elite in the DR (for the benefit of those who are not aware of it). We never said the girls were saints for crying out loud. There are many fine refined young ladies in the DR, then there are others who don't care to observe the rules. In one of my past posts I explained how some young girls I know were rejected by their boyfriend's family because some reason or another. That should have given you a clue that some of these girls are rebellious. But they are in the minority.
