They tell me that they can ship directly to Port Caucedo but they don't know if I can pick up the batteries from there.

Can I? How? Who do I contact?

but they tell me that the correct name of the company I am looking for is "La Hispaniola Freight" but I don't get a Google search result for "La Hispaniola Freight".

Contact one of the freight companies as Hispaniola, Caribetran, etc, if you are bringing a container there are some registrations for DGA, papers to sign, and show to DGA. Also the freight company must link your company as their authorized broker to complete all the paperworks to pay the taxes and arrange the pick up of the container.

It would be great if you let us know on this forum if you do get that tax exemption how the process works and if you need an RNC number. Good luck with everything.
