Spanish-speaking golfers - please help with my attempts at translating golf jargon into Spanish - are these correct?

short holes - hoyos cortos
long holes - hoyos largos
finish (as in the last part of the game) - la meta final/la terminaci?n
teeing areas - ?reas de tee
green sites - sitios de green

I know that the English words green and tee are also used in Spanish, but what about the rest?

Here in the DR I'm surprised at the number of English words they use whereas on ESPN they maybe use a little less.

I know your Spanish is better than mine, nonetheless I might use here "al final" and "areas de green".

Yes but your golf is much better than mine :)

"Areas de green" sounds good.
For finish, for example, how would you say "an exciting finish"? Una emocionante terminaci?n, or "una emocionante meta final" or simply "una emocionante final"? "Final" on its own suggests to me a final in general terms, not the end of one particular game.

I don't knnow if I've ever heard any of these terms here but that don't mean a lot.

Lets see if HB will chime in at some point as I'm sure he'll know.

HB chimed in behind the scenes:

Changed sitios de green to "greenes", areas de tee to "tees de salida", hoyos largos y cortos were fine, and for the most exciting finish we put "el hoyo final m?s emocionante".

Thanks!
