Apparently, Sosúa might see some changes.

I learned the Punta Cana is not the DR. Who knew?

I also learned that the AI used to translate has a way to go.

I learned virtually nothing about the potential changes coming to Sosua.
But there is a plan to organize and adjust. Over 23 minutes with very little said.

I guess you’re right.

That can’t be since you said “virtually nothing about changes“ and here mention 2 changes.
The actual changes were not mantioned. The mention was of changes that would make changes.
The video was a complete waste of words where nothing substantial was said.

Isn't this one of the core tasks of any politician? In many places I have seen someone promoting for "change". Change to what and how and what are the expected end results, those are usually not part of the promotion, just fancy, empty words...

The truth of the matter is that 'zoning changes" were approved for Sosua more than 6 years ago by Ayuntamiento. This was under Ilana, the last mayor. Now they are discussing the same thing all over again.
Just like they discussed the Sosua parking issues 3 months ago. They said no more ATV, moto, and rental car parking on the street. Nothing has changed. There's no parking to be found because of that issue.

The law of territorial planning wasn’t put into effect until 3 years ago.

What you’re referring to was based on an older different law. The first meeting regarding the territorial planning law of 2022 was the meeting cited in the OP which took place a few days ago.

What I was referring to was the governmental push to control prostitution. The Sosua town council passed local ordinances to do this years before Covid began. When Willy was elected, he refused to enforce those local ordinances. Now the council is discussing the new 2022 national law to accomplish the same goal.

There's zoning in Sosúa? Zoning was my thing back in my historic preservation/urban land use days, and I am gobsmacked at concept of zoning, not just in Sosúa, but in the whole country.
