They are still there. If anything, there are more than before. Some have fixed there places up very nice and obviously spent money doing so. Looks like they are planning to be there for awhile.
Along these same lines, what happened to all those properties that were bulldozed between Sosua and Cabarete? Did they find out who was responsible? Have the fences been taken down? Are people rebuilding again?
