Your probably remembering it when it was just a restaurant. Several years ago it was sold to the current ownership group and they built the hotel in the back as well as adding the new bar that just opened on the top floor. IMO the food quality was better with the prior owners but it is still ok.Is this a fairly new building? I used to eat breakfast at a Baileys when we visited but it was a lot smaller than this is.

Rumor has it that they have it listed for around 10 mill USD.
If that's true that price is laughable but a sucker with a dream born every minute.
Oh ok I didn't see that comment of the price when I originally watched the video. Thanks JD.
In the video in the OP the person who posted the video indicated the price is 4mm
Nothing new. It's always been that way.Everyone is selling.
I know most places are always for sale. Been a lot, very public, in a short period of time. It feels different this time. I could be wrong but it feels different.Nothing new. It's always been that way.
When I came to Sosua to buy 14 years ago it was the same. For sale was Perdro McMurphy's, The Britannia, La Vache, the bar across the street called The Hideaway and some bar around the corner from Flames. ....and that is just in one small sector.I know most places are always for sale. Been a lot, very public, in a short period of time. It feels different this time. I could be wrong but it feels different.
The government has slowly accomplished what it wants , demographics are Changing for that square block ..I know most places are always for sale. Been a lot, very public, in a short period of time. It feels different this time. I could be wrong but it feels different.
You are right. I remember that. Some stories from back then eh?When I came to Sosua to buy 14 years ago it was the same. For sale was Perdro McMurphy's, The Britannia, La Vache, the bar across the street called The Hideaway and some bar around the corner from Flames. ....and that is just in one small sector.
The government certainly isn't going to incentivize more clubs, bars and nightlife in or around Sosua. The government has slowly accomplished what it wants , demographics are Changing for that square block ..
I used to eat there but then I went one day after it started transitioning to the whoremonger's hangout (before they even closed the front access)Is this a fairly new building? I used to eat breakfast at a Baileys when we visited but it was a lot smaller than this is.
Maybe just a bit late to be getting out while it's good. With interest rates so high property sales are lagging and people seem to be hunkering down and global money isn't freely moving as before. It sounds like the owner is getting out while the getting is good.
