A few people--like Seamonkey & ffritz and a few others here--have a clue about how many beers you need to sell a month just to maintain a girlfriend and her hair-do, her finger nails and Bikini waxing, her cell phone and cell phone minutes. It's a expensive.Trust me!

i'm with ya. a tiny, neat inviting bush is much better than bare, red scab. ladies, do not shave it all!

Exactly, when you have a Begonia bush, you don't cut the flowers back to their root! That's insanity. You simply trim the bush back a few inches so that the flowers come back larger than life, blooming, and emitting a sweet perfume the next time they bloom. it's not a science in as much as it's an art.

Thank god i'm an artist.

Looks like the new bar "Universol / MontReal" in the old Harrison's spot might have closed. They were dark last night.

President "Bobby": Mr. Gardner, do you agree with Ben, or do you think that we can stimulate growth through temporary incentives?
[Long pause]
Chance the Gardener: As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.
President "Bobby": In the garden.
Chance the Gardener: Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.
President "Bobby": Spring and summer.
Chance the Gardener: Yes.
President "Bobby": Then fall and winter.
Chance the Gardener: Yes.
Benjamin Rand: I think what our insightful young friend is saying is that we welcome the inevitable seasons of nature, but we're upset by the seasons of our economy.
Chance the Gardener: Yes! There will be growth in the spring!

One of the best movies of all time! "I like to watch."

Dennis Watson: Ah, tell me, Mr. Gardner... have you ever had sex with a man?
Chance the Gardener: No... I don't think so.
Dennis Watson: We could go upstairs right now.
Chance the Gardener: Is there a TV upstairs? I like to watch.
Dennis Watson: You like to uh, watch?
Chance the Gardener: Yes.
Dennis Watson: You wait right here. I'll go get Warren!

Maybe one of the reasons small bar restaurant don't turn a profit is they over pay for beer.If an individual pays 41cents a bottle and a restaurant/bar owner pays 50cents per bottle there's a problem with the business model.

Nobody (individuals) is paying 41 pesos for a bottle of presidente. The 990 peso price that was quoted is an old price that we haven't seen since January....once the new 18%itbis came into affect. Bohemia is still cheaper.

I spoke too soon. Just drove by and it was open again. To paraphrase Mark Twain: "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggeratted!". Lo siento. Es mi culpa.

However, the old "Seacrets" bar across the street that recently reopened as "City Nights", is not only closed, but stripped bare of everything.
