Sports Brief online publishes its list of the top Dominican baseball players of all times. On the list: Pedro Martinez, Vladimir Guerrero, David Ortiz, Juan Marichal, Sammy Sosa, Alfonso Soriano, Robinson Cano, Manny Ramirez, Tony Fernandez and Jose Bautista.

The online site feature also seeks to answer the question: “Why are there so many Dominican baseball players?

I wonder if the reason Pujols is not included in Sport Brief's top 10 has to do with the fact that he was not a product of the D.R. baseball system.
