Starlin Castro-Amazing!!!

Starlin Castro, a 20 year-old Dominican shortstop from Monte Cristi had his major league debut with the Chicago Cubs last night after being called up to the majors from double A on May 7th of this year.

What does he do in his first-ever major league game?

First at bat, first swing-a three run home run.

Later in the game he hits a three-run triple in a 14-7 victory over the Reds.

He is the 6th player in cubs history to hit a homer in his first at bat.

This my friends, is a baseball dream come true. Good for you Starlin!!!

I just saw the Cubs this weekend. And he looked pretty good. His hitting is great, and I also saw that Trammell has been working with him and his fielding is getting a little better. So, good luck to him!
