My wife just got them today via UPS and it's smaller, half the size and more light weight. I got it for $299 instead $500 and the monthly rate is only $2000RD instead of normal $6700RD.

Speed test: 310mpbs download and 47mpbs upload

Not bad at all. Guys, get the mini, its better!

it was on promo, now they went back to normal price... But honestly, its same but the difference different plans. The mini has ability to move regardless where you are so that's why I got it.

Link please, thanks.

So if you bought it and it was sent to you in Miami, will it work just as well if you had purchased it in the DR?
I read somewhere that if you purchase a Starlink in the DR, it will function better since it's been programmed to work in that country/region.

Not true?

A Starlink mini with a power bank giving download speeds of 270Mbps (for 5 hours!) is insane. A dish the size of a MacBook.

And, if that was no small accomplishment:

NEWS: SpaceX nearly doubled its backlog of
@Starlink
in-flight Wi-Fi orders with last week’s United Airlines deal, a company director said today. “Very excited that we have about 2,500 aircraft under contract now, bringing what was effectively a startup to now what we think is a growing experience that’s going to resonate with all the passengers and the airlines worldwide,” Nick Galano, SpaceX director of Starlink aviation sales and partnerships, said during a panel at the World Space Business Week conference in Paris.

We won't even mention countries who are spending BILLIONS to bring internet to country folks who already have Starlink.
